TROUBLESHOOTING
Paste hard to dispense
Paste too cold. Let the syringe warm at room temperature (20–25°C) for 1–2 hours. Never apply heat.
Joints appear dull or grainy
Peak temperature too low, or cooling too fast. Increase peak to 220°C and allow natural cooling.
Excessive solder balls / spatter
Moisture absorbed or peak too high. Allow paste to fully warm before use. Reduce peak to within 215–225°C window.
Paste dried at the nozzle
Clear with a toothpick or replace the needle. Cap the syringe immediately after every use to prevent oxidation.

HOW TO USE
1
Warm the syringe
Remove from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature (20–25°C) for 1–2 hours. Never microwave or apply direct heat.
Cold paste affects flow and joint quality
2
Prepare your workspace
Work in a well-ventilated area with active fume extraction. Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses. Clean PCB pads with 99% IPA and let dry completely.
⚠ Lead fumes are harmful — always extract
3
Attach the dispensing needle
Screw the needle onto the syringe tip. Use 22G–25G for fine-pitch (<0.5mm); 18G–20G for standard pads and through-hole.
4
Apply paste to pads
Apply even pressure in small amounts — just enough to cover the pad. Avoid bridging adjacent pads. Wipe excess immediately with IPA-soaked lint-free wipe.
Less is more — start small
5
Place the components
Use tweezers or a vacuum pen to place components. Paste tackiness holds them in place before reflow.
6
Reflow soldering
Follow the reflow profile; peak 220°C, must not exceed 235°C. Maintain TAL (above 183°C) for 30–60 seconds. Allow board to cool naturally to room temperature.
⚠ Active fume extraction required during reflow
7
Inspect & wash hands
Good joints look bright and silvery with complete wetting. No-clean flux residue is non-conductive — no cleaning required. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before eating or touching face.
⚠ Hand washing is mandatory after handling lead
