Every spec sheet, one place.

Technical data sheets, safety data sheets, and instructions for use for every tinvoa alloy — plus the compliance information your QA team needs.

Data sheets & instructions.

Every wholesale order ships with the full documentation pack — TDS, SDS, Certificate of Conformance, and RoHS / REACH declarations for your lot. Safety Data Sheets are issued on request rather than published for download. Need a document that isn't linked below? Email [email protected] and we'll send it.

What we conform to.

Declarations are issued for the alloy on your order. The references below explain the standards behind them.

RoHS

Lead-free alloys meet the RoHS substance limits. A RoHS declaration ships with each relevant order.

REACH

REACH declarations covering SVHC content are available for every alloy on request.

IPC J-STD-005A

Viscosity, slump, tack and wetting are evaluated using the IPC J-STD-005A test methods. A Certificate of Conformance is issued per lot.

Prop 65 (leaded)

Leaded pastes (Sn63/Pb37 and Sn62/Pb36/Ag2) ship with a California Prop 65 warning and lead-specific SDS. Details.

Product & documentation questions.

How should I store solder paste?
Keep paste refrigerated at 2–10 °C for maximum shelf life (about 6 months for solder paste). Before use, let the sealed syringe return to room temperature — don't open it cold, or condensation can form. Do not freeze.
What's the working time once it's at room temperature?
Solder paste has a working time of ≥24 hours at 25 °C once brought to ambient. Re-refrigerate between sessions; the working-time clock restarts each time it's warmed for use. Full handling steps are in each product's IFU above.
T4 or T5 powder — which should I order?
T4 (≈20–38 µm) is the general-purpose choice for most SMT and hand-stencil work. T5 (≈15–25 µm) is for fine-pitch components, micro pads, and small apertures. When in doubt, T4 — it prints and reflows more forgivingly.
Do I need to clean residue after a no-clean paste or flux?
tinvoa fluxes are no-clean, low-activity and halide-free — ROL0 rosin across the line, REL0 resin on Sn62/Pb36/Ag2. Residue can be left in place for most general electronics. Clean it off for high-reliability, high-voltage, or conformal-coated assemblies. Always validate cleaning against your own reliability requirements.
Is the leaded Sn63/Pb37 paste RoHS-compliant?
No — it contains lead and is intended for RoHS-exempt applications (e.g. military, aerospace, high-reliability, and rework). It ships wholesale-only with a California Prop 65 warning and lead-specific SDS. See the Hazmat Shipping Policy.
Where do I find the SDS, TDS, or a Certificate of Conformance?
TDS and IFU are in the documentation library at the top of this page. Safety Data Sheets are available on request, and a lot-specific Certificate of Conformance and REACH declarations are issued with your order — request any of these at [email protected].

Need a document we haven't posted?

Certificates of Conformance, lead-specific SDS, and REACH declarations are issued per order. Ask and we'll send what you need.
